MUTTON GHEE ROAST
Mutton Ghee Roast is a dry mutton recipe with spicy, tangy, and juicy mutton pieces.

- 500 grams Boneless mutton pieces
- 1/2 cup Chopped shallots You can use Big onion also
- 1 no Small size tomato
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Check the recipe for INDIAN GARAM MASALA HOMEMADE
- 1½ tbsp Chili powder Adjust adding chilli powder upto your spicy level.
- 1/2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- 1 tsp Gingerly oil
- 2 tbsp Pure Ghee
- 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp Urad dal
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 inch Ginger chopped
- 5 nos Chopped Garlic cloves
- 2 sprigs Curry leaves
- 1/2 hand full of chopped coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
Method :
In a Medium Flame, Heat a wide pan, add gingerly oil, ghee, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chilies, and curry leaves, and saute it.
Add chopped shallots, Chopped Garlic, and Chopped Ginger and cook till the raw smell goes away. Then, add the chopped tomatoes and cook till it gets mushy.
Now, add the turmeric powder garam masala ( INDIAN GARAM MASALA HOMEMADE), and chili powder with salt to taste and give a mix. Add the cooked mutton pieces with little mutton water and mix well and cook for 5- 8 minutes until the masala gets dry. Add fresh pepper powder and mix well.
Finally, add chopped coriander leaves, and squeeze half a lemon juice. Turn off the flame and add a 1/2 tsp of ghee and mix well.
Yummy! Tangy, spicy Ghee Mutton Roast is ready to serve.
