Hot and Spicy Mutton Soup Recipe is my mom’s (Prema) evergreen signature recipe and my all-time favorite recipe. Adding freshly ground masala it will enhance the flavor of the soup. It is a perfect recipe to get relief from cough, cold, fever. Black pepper, shallots, cumin seeds act as an antioxidant, improves seasonal allergies, dental health. I used chest bone (nenju elumbu) for making soup. It is very good for cold and cough. Come!!! I will tell you all how to make hot and spicy mutton soup quickly.

Hot and Spicy Mutton Soup
Ingredients
- Mutton 1/4 kg
- Water 6 cups
- Few -Curry leaves
- Salt to taste
Blend and Make a Masala :
- Shallots – 1cup
- Dried Red chilies- 2
- Tomato -2
- Turmeric powder 1tsp
- Black Pepper -1 ½ tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Instructions
- Take a pressure cooker and add 1tbsp of oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves.
- Add the mutton pieces, salt and sauté it well.
- Add the ground Masala with 6 cups of water to it.
- Mix together and pressure cook for 6-7 whistles.
- Once it cools down open the cooker.
- Hot and Spicy Mutton Soup is Ready to Serve !!
PICTORIAL STEP BY STEP METHOD:
- Take a pressure cooker and add 1tbsp of oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves.
- Add the mutton pieces.
- Add salt and sauté it well.
- Add shallots, cumin seeds, black pepper, dried red chili. then,add tomato and blend it.
- Add the ground masala.
- Add 6 cups of water and mix well.
- Add salt to taste and close the pan.Cook for 6-7 whistles.
- Serve Hot and Spicy Mutton Soup.
